Natural and Uniform Tan: EErythrulose (DHB) produces a color that is more similar to a natural UV suntan compared to DHA. Longer-Lasting Tan: Erythrulose (DHB) tans are generally more long-lasting than DHA tans. Application: Self-Tanning Products: Erythrulose (DHB) is commonly used in creams, lotions, foams, sprays, and even make-up products like foundations. Combination with DHA: Erythrulose (DHB) is often combined with DHA in formulations to mitigate the drawbacks of DHA, such as uneven tanning and orange hues.
Erythrulose (DHB) is a self-tanning agent that reacts with amino acids in the skin to produce a tan, similar to the Maillard reaction. It's known for creating a natural-looking, even tan with less chance of streaking than DHA (dihydroxyacetone). Erythrulose (DHB) produces a lighter, slower-developing tan that fades faster than DHA alone. It's often combined with DHA to create a longer-lasting and more even tan.
